Sheffield Youth Wind Band (Intermediate)

Sheffield Youth Wind Band comprises woodwind and brass players from around Sheffield who are between grade 2 and grade 4/5 standard. We have a great fun at our rehearsals and play a whole range of music from show tunes, pop tunes and film music. There is always something for everyone to enjoy. We have played lots of concerts including playing at the Cathedral, the octagon and Victoria Hall. We also play at the bandstand in Western Park every summer.
Children playing the following instruments are welcome:

What to expect at your first rehearsal
If you think it might help, please share the Young Person’s Rehearsal Timeline with your young musician. This will give them an idea of what to expect when they arrive, the rehearsal and what to do at the end. Hopefully it will help calm some nerves :)

Please note we only accept new members into this group in the first half of every term (e.g. September to October, January to February, April to May).
