Jazz Generations

Jazz Generations is back! Experience an unforgettable evening of live jazz showcasing the incredible talent of Sheffield’s young musicians and seasoned performers.

This year’s event features Sheffield Music Hub’s youth jazz music groups:

• Sheffield Youth Jazz Collective, led by jazz experts Chris Burge and Travis Finch,
• Sheffield Youth Big Band led by Rory Evans.

Joining them on stage will be the high-level Sheffield Big Band, The Langsett Dance Orchestra, led by Rob Skeet.

Held at the legendary Crookes Social Club, a cornerstone of Sheffield’s live music scene and a top venue for jazz. Known for its outstanding acoustics, Crookes regularly hosts brilliant jazz acts, making it the perfect setting for this gig.

From our youngest jazz players to a semi-professional big band, this is a celebration of musical progression. Plus, some really great jazz playing #SheffieldJazz!
