Magdalena Papczynska (Trustee)
Magdalena works as a lunchtime supervisor at a Sheffield primary school, where she enjoys helping to care for children and making sure they feel safe and supported. Alongside this, she is studying to become a complementary therapist. Her knowledge of the Sheffield Music Hub has grown through seeing the positive impact it has had on her own children, both in their musical development and in their confidence, as well as through volunteering at Hub events. Inspired by this experience, Magdalena decided at the last AGM to become a trustee and hopes to use the skills she has gained through her work and studies to support the charity as it continues to grow.
Magdalena feels strongly that music can make a lasting difference to young people’s wellbeing, supporting them not only now but into adulthood. Becoming a trustee is her way of helping more children enjoy the benefits of music, while also giving something back for the support and opportunities the Hub has given her family.
