Lisa Spalding - Operations Manager
I joined Sheffield Music Hub in a new role as Operations Manager after supporting a number of business support teams in Sheffield City Council as I was really interested in being part of an organisation that gives access and opportunities to all children and young people.
My role mainly involves areas of finance, system and processes alongside searching out service developments working across the management team, music staff and back office support.
I was born and bred in Sheffield and have seen many changes and developments, but still love finding the old original buildings, meeting new people and finding new places.
When I do have some spare time I enjoy travelling in my motorhome, socialising with friends around the northern soul scene and add in a touch of football (the red and white side of Sheffield.

- Favourite song/piece of music: I love all 70’s music ranging from Motown, Northern Soul, Glam Rock, Beatles, Mod and Rock & Pop: Song in the head at the moment: Stranger In your arms by Lynne Randell
- Favourite thing to do outside of work: I love travelling and have a motorhome with my husband, so we go far and wide when we can
- Favourite food: seafood - a particular love of oysters
