Friends and Volunteers of Sheffield Music Hub Award Nomination
Calling all parents, carers, students and anyone interested in, and wanting to support music education!
We need your help!
Sheffield Mutual are offering the amazing opportunity for a charity to receive an award of £5,000. The three with the most votes are awarded a donation as follows: 1st place £5,000, 2nd place £1,500 and 3rd place £1,000.

It's a 30 second job which could massively help support music education in Sheffield!
The Friends and Volunteers play an integral role in supporting Sheffield Music Hub as we deliver our mission: We believe that every child, regardless of race; gender; where they live; their levels of musical talent; parental income; whether they have special educational needs or disabilities; and whether they are looked-after children; deserve the very best music education.
Money that goes towards the Friends and Volunteers makes things like this possible:
- Buying new samba drums and delivering Samba workshops in schools across Sheffield
- Regularly buying sheet music for groups
- Subsidising travel to residentials
- Funding our Junior Ambassadors for Music tops
- Buying xylophones for staff training and workshops in schools.
