Are You Sitting Comfortably? Hallé For Youth School Concert
The 10:45am cocnert is sold out so please book the 1pm concert
Bring your school to hear the mighty Hallé live in concert! This concert is a perfect introduction to the exciting sounds of a large symphony orchestra, and includes a large screen showing live-stream footage, enabling the whole audience to see the instruments of the orchestra more easily.
Love reading? Join us in the week of World Book Day to explore music inspired by texts you know and love, and to discover new stories you have not yet encountered. We encourage schools to dress up as they would for their World Book Day event in school.
This extremely popular, annual school event is taking place on Friday 7 March 2025 at the Sheffield City Hall.
Again there will be 2 concerts (10:45am and 1pm) designed for KS2 and above and the programme will include a song which all of the audience will join in with (The Bare Necessities).
The tickets are £5 (£7.50 for non Sheffield schools) for everyone (including teachers) please note there are no refunds available. With no limit being set you can bring as many classes as there is space for – last year a couple of schools brought the whole of the juniors!
If you would like to book a place now to secure your preferred time (the morning concert sold out last time and the afternoon concert was almost to capacity) then please complete the online booking form.
Please book your place by Friday 14 February 2025.
