Are you interested in playing descant recorder, are you interested in learning to play alongside backing tracks? We are a happy, lively bunch of young folk who enjoy playing the recorder. We have performed at the Victoria Hall in Sheffield and at All Saints School. We read music notation and improvise. We are a group for complete beginners and welcome anyone interested.

We asked some of our students what their favourite thing about the group is and this is what they said...

  • Favourite song/piece of music that we have played: Tunes by Sarah Watts - accompanied by CD
  • Favourite game/activity that we do: Call and Response game - this is where Nigel plays something on the recorder and they either sing it or play it back.
  • Favourite venue we have played at - Sheffield's Victoria Hall

Children playing the following instruments are welcome:

  • Recorder
