Sheffield Music Academy is one of 15 Centres for Advanced Training in the UK, providing funding and support so that finance need never present a barrier to musical learning. Teaching takes place on Saturdays during term time for talented young musicians aged 8-18. Entry is by audition.
Steel City Choristers is an independent choir of children and adults singing in the cathedral tradition for a wide range of communities across Sheffield and beyond. They offer our choristers a free first-class musical education and sing for a wide range of churches and other communities in and around Sheffield.
Sheffield Cathedral Little Lights Choir is a choir which helps children discover their voices. Led by Cathedral musicians, the choir is open to any child aged 4-8.
Sheffield Cathedral Community Choir is a choir is open to all: doesn’t matter if you’ve sung before or if you’re completely new to the world of music, they’d love to welcome you to the choir.
