Chester Heath Cook (Strings)

Hi, I'm Chester. I teach violin, and have been playing for over 20 years. I have performed on stage, with orchestras, across the world, but it all started with my first violin lesson - when I was 4! I studied music all throughout school and university, especially performance and composition. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve, I aim to provide fun and engaging lessons for all ages. We can dive into classical music, learn your favourite songs, build confidence, and develop a lifelong skill. Ready to embark on a new adventure? I look forward to meeting you.

• Favourite song/ piece of music: Who can choose one? Here's a few, Yes - Roundabout; Earth, Wind & Fire - September, Chopin - Prelude in C minor
• Favourite thing to do outside of work: Learning languages. I speak Japanese, and recently moved onto Spanish.
• Favourite food: Easy, cheesecake!
• Favourite place in Sheffield: Dam Flask - beautiful.
• One thing about me that would surprise you to know: I am trained in the goju-ryu style of karate.
