Paul Hawksworth

Instruments: Guitar: Acoustic, Electric & Bass and Ukulele

Having graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music in 2008 Paul has since moved back to his hometown of Sheffield where he has amassed a vast amount of teaching experience working as a tutor in schools throughout the area, at Ricky’s School of Rock (Huddersfield) and privately in his home studio. In addition to his work as a guitar tutor Paul is an established Singer/Songwriter who performs and records his own material and has toured throughout the UK in his band, The Monday Club, with notable artists such as: The Jam, Sophie Ellis Bextor, The Undertones, The Subways and Steve Cradock (guitarist for Paul Weller and Ocean Colour Scene).  

Paul has a relaxed and friendly teaching approach and places emphasis on delivering lessons that are based around contemporary music styles. Pupils have the opportunity to learn to play current songs, which engages and inspires them to develop a love of music. Through Paul’s teaching music is made accessible for everyone to enjoy. Children will build their self-confidence, creativity and develop their individual talents as musicians.
