We have spaces in our music groups this September!
Join us! We are welcoming new members to our wide range of music groups this September, offering children and young people across the city the chance to get involved in high-quality, inclusive music-making!
The Hub’s ensembles (music groups) are open to anyone aged 5 to 18, with no prior musical experience required. From beginner groups to advanced ensembles, the programme is designed to support young people at every stage of their musical journey. Sessions are relaxed, friendly, and focused on building confidence, creativity, and connection through music.
Sheffield Music Hub is committed to making music education accessible to all. Every child, regardless of race, gender, where they live, their level of musical talent, parental income, whether they have special educational needs or disabilities, or whether they are looked-after children, is welcomed and supported. The Hub believes that music should be a part of every child’s life, and its inclusive approach reflects that belief.
Families receiving Free School Meals, Universal Credit, Income Support, Income-Based Job Seekers Allowance, or Working Tax Credit are eligible for FREE membership, ensuring that cost is not a barrier to participation.
Music has a powerful impact on young people, helping them to express themselves, build social connections, and develop valuable life skills. Sheffield Music Hub’s groups offer a space where young people can grow, explore their creativity, and be part of a vibrant musical community.
