The Leadmill Studio Orchestra Project tickets are on sale!
If anyone doesn't know about this incredibly exciting project here is a little run down!
The Leadmill Studio Orchestra project is a collaborative project with Sheffield Music Hub, emerging talent from South Yorkshire and is supported by Tramlines Community Trust, The Sarah Nulty Power of Music Foundation, Sheffield Church Burgesses Trust and Sheffield Town Trust. A huge thank you to these organisations for helping make this happen.
We’re incredibly excited that we’ll be going again, this year, with some incredible musicians – Alice Ede, Sunburst, AJE and Harris, who are all involved with brilliant organisations in Sheffield, including Slambarz, Sheffield Music School/TRACKS and WaterBear. All of these exciting talented musicians are accompanied by our Senior Orchestra. George Morton, the incredibly talented composer and arranger, is working alongside these individuals to help develop an orchestra accompaniment to one of their original tracks, which they’ll then get to perform on the Main Stage at TRAMLINES FESTIVAL – an incredible opportunity for all.
GET YOUR TICKETS FOR MONDAY 24TH JUNE!
Please be aware that the performances on the 24th June are the same setlist as the Tramlines performance. So if you aren't going to Tramlines aleady you'll save some money by catching them at the Leadmill!
The Leadmill Studio Orchestra project aims to bring music organisations together and connect more young people with music. We’ll be posting regular updates, so stay tuned with Sheffield Music Hub for updates on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to find out more!
