Calling all woodwind students from South Yorkshire and beyond, get involved with the South Yorkshire Recorder Academy.

Sign up here to play with The South Yorkshire Recorder Academy. You'll get the chance to cover all periods and genres of music from medieval to modern 21st Century electronic music.

The Academy is supported by Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield Music Hubs

This is your chance to perform as a specialist recorder group and meet new friends. There will be a tuck shop to get snacks but please bring your own pack lunch.

There will be a short informal concert at about 2:30 if you'd like to see what the young musicians have been working on.
