One Voice Summer 2025 Schools Sign Up!
Sheffield Schools - Join Us for One Voice Summer 2025!
We are delighted to invite you to participate in One Voice Summer 2025, a singing festival organised by Sheffield Music Hub for KS2 classes and choirs. You can bring as many classes as you like or bring your school choir or singing club. The songs for this project have been chosen with the theme of Friendship and Belonging in mind, offering a joyful yet thoughtful reflection on how caring for each other fosters a spirit of belonging.
This project empowers teachers to lead their classes in singing and provides children with the fantastic opportunity to come together with hundreds of other children from across Sheffield for an inspiring performance at The Octagon Centre. Tickets will be available for families for £5 to watch their children perform.

Festival Overview
The project begins with an in person CPD session for all class teachers involved. Kate Shipway, one of our Vocal Music Leaders, will guide teachers through the songs in a fun and supportive session at The Foundry Studios (3 Brown Street, Sheffield). Teachers will then lead their classes in learning the festival songs, with all necessary music, lyrics, rehearsal tracks, and backing tracks provided.
A few weeks before the performance, Kate will conduct two live sessions streamed on YouTube to assist with your school's preparation. These sessions can be watched live or at a later time.
On the day of the performance, schools will gather at The Octagon Centre for a morning rehearsal followed by an afternoon performance. Take a look at the joy on the singers’ faces from One Voice Summer 2025 here.

When applying, please indicate your preferred performance date: Monday, 30th June or Tuesday, 1st July, or if you have no preference. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so submit your form quickly to avoid disappointment.
We are excited to announce our official partnership with The Linking Network for One Voice Summer 2025, following a successful pilot. The Linking Network inspires and equips schools to support children and young people in building meaningful connections with children from other schools and backgrounds.
What is 'Linking'? Linking involves sharing time and experiences with people from different backgrounds, such as socioeconomic status, nationality, faith, age, or other characteristics. To reduce prejudice and challenge stereotypes, effective linking requires careful thought and preparation. Rooted in research around intergroup contact, linking provides opportunities for meaningful positive social contact.
As part of the One Voice singing festival The Linking Network will facilitate opportunities for linking, such as practicing songs with other schools or engaging in collaborative games on the One Voice performance day.
Cost
- £300 per class of up to 34 students.
- £50 DISCOUNT for any additional classes. Additional classes £250
