Musical Mondays concert

On Monday, December 2nd, six South Yorkshire special schools—including four from Sheffield—came together virtually to enjoy Live Music Now’s Musical Mondays concert. These lively, engaging, and educational performances are specially designed for primary and specialist schools, catering to children with complex and additional learning needs.

This particular concert featured the talented folk music duo, Filkin’s Drift, who took the students on a captivating musical journey through the Wild West of America. The experience was highly interactive, as the 330 students in attendance had the chance to guide the performance—choosing the speed and emotion of the music in real time. This level of participation brought excitement, creativity, and connection to every moment.
