Music for Youth - Proms at the Royal Albert Hall

South Yorkshire Orchestral Collective – Royal Albert Hall – Music for Youth Proms – Thursday 28th November

We are delighted to announce our Senior Orchestra will be joining an enormous South Yorkshire super orchestra (including City of Sheffield Youth Orchestra and Sheffield Music Academy and musicians from Music Services in Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster. This will be to play at The Royal Albert Hall in London for the Music for Youth Proms. 

Rehearsal weekend including a performance in Sheffield:

Saturday 23rd November 3pm - 7pm at Sheffield Music Academy - Birkdale School 
Sunday 24th November 10am - 5.30pm (with performance at 5.00pm) - Sheffield City Centre venue TBC 

Performance:
Thursday 28th November Performance at the Music for Youth Prom at the Royal Albert Hall in London. We will be arranging a coach from All Saint's Catholic High School with returning the same day after the concert, so it will be a late-night return to Sheffield. It will be an exhausting day, but we can guarantee that it will be an amazing experience. There will be a charge for the coach, however if this is an issue, please don't hesitate to email MusicHubProjects@sheffield.gov.uk and we will be happy to assist with this.
