Have a wonderful half term

Published on 23/10/2023

What an exciting half term we’ve had – our collaborative partnership with Brass Bands England, Harmony Works and many schools across the city to perform our Proms in the Park, was a massive success. You might have seen us on Look North – you can see the feature here!

We’ve created a new parent/carer handbook which can be found here. It has a wide range of information in for you to access. You can find in this guide information on music groups, concerts, volunteering with us, instrument hire, Eepos, and billing. Please take a look and do let us know if there’s anything else you think we should add in here too.

Our Music Groups are growing from strength to strength and the demand for music lessons is as great as ever and we’ve now employed a new team of Music Tutors so we can expand provision across the city.

We are delighted to be launching a new senior choir “Concordia Voices” (ages 14-18) to complement our existing junior and youth voices choirs as part of the newly named SHEFFIELD YOUTH CHOIRS. Did you know that singing in a choir is amazing for developing musical skills and confidence and works wonders for your overall sense of wellbeing. You can find out more about Concordia Voices here.

Music is well and truly alive in our great city!

Don’t forget to also take a look at our website in terms of other opportunities that you might be able to access – we have a wide range of music groups and choirs.

Have a fantastic half term with your young musicians and we can’t wait to welcome them back after half term into their lessons and groups.
