The Hallé are delighted to let you know their FREE online concert for Primary Schools, Hallé for Youth 2021, Once upon a Time… the next best thing to a live concert is available NOW on Youtube.
- Featuring the world famous Hallé performing Mother Goose Suite by Maurice Ravel.
- Introduced by Tom Redmond and presented by members of the orchestra
- Listen to Ravel’s musical snapshots for stories from Sleeping Beauty, Tom Thumb, Laideronnette - Empress of the Pagodas, Beauty and the Beast and The Fairy Garden
- Filmed at Hallé St Peter’s, the Hallé’s home in Ancoats, Manchester
- Meet some of the musicians and their instruments
- Watch the concert as often as you like during the summer term
The concert lasts approximately 35 minutes and can be enjoyed across the age ranges. The music also lends itself as a starting point for a cross curricular creative arts project.
