FREE Inspire and Play workshop with The Yorkshire Wind Orchestra
We are excited to share that this April we are facilitating a fantastic opportunity for young musicians across the region. Inspire and Play, A workshop with The Yorkshire Wind Orchestra. Yorkshire’s leading Wind Orchestra.
This will be a special Wind Band Development Day for young musicians across South Yorkshire. Players will take part in full band rehearsals and sectionals, led by the Yorkshire Wind Orchestra and the day will conclude with a relaxed performance for family and friends.
The workshop will run from 10am – 4pm with the performance taking place at Workstation at 3:00pm
Date: Saturday 26th April 2025
Time: 10am – 4pm (with a relaxed performance for parents/carers and friends at 3:00pm at the Workstation)
You are able to attend this day if you play:
- Flute
- Clarinet
- Oboe
- Bassoon
- Saxophone
- French horn
- Cornet
- Trumpet
- Euphonium
- Baritone
- Trombone
- Tuba
- Percussion
Inspire and Play is open to young musicians from Year 6 to Year 13 who are above roughly above grade 2 standard.
