Applications are now open for the English Schools’ Orchestra 2026!

The English Schools’ Orchestra brings together talented young musicians from across the country for an intensive residential orchestral course, culminating in a concert in a prestigious venue.

The course is designed for students aged 13–18 in full-time education who are playing at Grade 8 standard or above (no formal exams required)

2026 Course repertoire:

• Piano Concerto No. 2 (Rachmaninov)
• Symphony No. 2 (Scriabin)
• Levenszomer (Johan Wagenaar)

Weds 28th Oct – Sun 1st Nov 2026

Woldingham School, Surrey (Course)

Milton Court, Guildhall School of Music, London (Concert)

• A chance to tackle large-scale symphonic repertoire
